This Week
Pentecost Sunday: A Day for Peace Join us for worship this Sunday as we dedicate our new Peace Pole on the church grounds. The Peace Pole will be open to the community as a place to gather for prayers for peace, justice and unity.
Wednesday Away at CrossRoads At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit is said to have come as a great wind, reminiscent of Jesus’ description of the Spirit in us (Jn 3:8). Wind carries things away. Wind fans flames, fills sails, brings rain, makes waves, and carries seeds and pollen through the air to germinate new life. How is the Holy Spirit moving like a wind in you? Join us for Spirit Wind: a retreat day at CrossRoads tomorrow, June 4, led by Laurie Matarazzo. Register TODAY at www.crossroadsretreat.com.
Upcoming Events
Princeton Pride Day and Parade On Saturday, June 14th, POP will be participating in this year’s parade and hosting a booth at the After Party, as we did last year, to show our support for the local community. Please contact Con P. Sweeney at conpatricksweeney@gmail.com for more information or if you would like to either help out or participate.
CrossRoads Day Camp St. Paul's Lutheran Church in East Windsor is hosting Day Camp (think VBS) July 14-18. If you have a child in your life who you think would be blessed by this wonderful experience, please check out the details in the attachment. Registration forms can be picked up in the PoP vestibule and office. Also, working in partnership with St. Paul's, the House Next Door will be hosting the CrossRoads Staff throughout the week. Please watch for a sign-up sheet in June to help provide meals for our guests.

A one-hour virtual training is required to get started. Donations are needed of new or gently used shoes/sandals (see sizes at POP) or gift cards towards them, child’s keyboard, and diapers. Can you service/repair donated bikes? Please call or text Nancy Reyes at 609-273-1239 for details.
Weekly Opportunities
POP's Peace Garden The Peace Garden is fully planted and volunteers are harvesting every Friday. To keep it going strong, we need more volunteers. Volunteers are now working Tuesdays from 10-12 and Fridays from 9-11. No experience is necessary. Know someone who enjoys gardening? Please invite them. Love to garden, but our schedule doesn’t work for you? Ask for a task to help with on your own schedule! Contact Nancy Reyes (nancyauerreyes@gmail.com or 609-273-1239) or Shari Rexroad (srexroad915@gmail.com or 609-558-3042) to get on the latest gardening email group to see reminders, changes to the schedule, or ways you can help on your own.
Christian Focus - Wednesdays from 11:30am-1:00pm Christian Focus welcomes new members. We meet every Wednesday at 11:30 in the lounge. Bring a lunch if desired; each session lasts until around 1 p.m. At the present time we are watching and discussing a video series entitled "Lives of Great Christians." Each 30 minute video focuses on a significant Christian luminary. The series spans the centuries from St. Paul to Martin Luther King. We pick and choose who we want to learn about. Last week, for example, we saw a video on St. Patrick. If you are interested in joining us, please contact Phyllis Church at p.church@mindspring.com.
Prayer Circle - Fridays from 1:30pm-2:30pm on Zoom As members of the Body of Christ, we are a people of prayer. All are welcome as our Prayer Circle gathers weekly for discussion, reflection, and prayer. The Zoom link for this ministry is sent, along with our prayer list, every Thursday via an email communication titled “Pray With Us”. Come once; come weekly!
Joyful Stitchers - Mondays at 7:00pm on Zoom Every week Joyful Stitchers, PoP’s stitching arts group, spends an hour knitting, crocheting and socializing. All are welcome to join us. If you don’t know how to knit or crochet and would like to learn, we can teach you! We have experienced knitters and crocheters who are happy to help anyone learn; and we have a good stash of yarn, needles, and crochet hooks to get you started. If you would like to join us, please contact Kate Chen at kcmchen@comcast.net.
Worship Assistants - Sundays at 9:30am We are always happy to have a variety of people participate in worship on Sunday mornings. You are welcome to serve as acolytes, lectors, ushers, greeters, prayer ministers and fellowship hosts. Please sign up at: https://bit.ly/pop-sunday-signup. The liturgy is the work of the people. We can’t do it without you! Thank you.
